I have eight years of experience across the mental health and welfare sectors, including four years in public mental health working with complex and enduring presentations. As a Senior Mental Health Clinician I led a counselling program and supervised a team of therapists across trauma, addiction, OCD, and severe anxiety.

In my current practice I work with a focused range of presentations: obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma-related difficulties, and substance and behavioural addictions. These areas carry significant shame and fear of being misunderstood. My aim is to offer clear, evidence-based support that is both structured and compassionate.

My approach integrates EMDR for trauma processing alongside cognitive behavioural, emotion-focused, and values-based therapies. I am co-founder of a psychoeducational social enterprise recognised with a Victorian Premier's Design Award in 2024.

How I work

01

OCD

Intrusive thoughts, images, and compulsive patterns — including subtypes that often go unrecognised. I work with both the content and the underlying processes that keep people feeling stuck.

02

Trauma & PTSD

Flashbacks, regulation, attention and sleep difficulties, self-blame and avoidance of past stressors. I use Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) — structured and evidence-based — to help clients produce meaningful shifts and regain confidence.

03

Addiction

Substance and behavioural addictions — understood in context, not in isolation. Collaborative, non-judgemental, and trauma-informed where relevant.

Depending on the presenting concerns, I draw on a range of modalities including Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, compassion and mindfulness techniques, and Emotion Focused Therapy.
